Workshop with LYSAGHT: Empowering Our Youth and Upgrading Our Facilities
15 July 2024 -From July 10 to 12, Peduli Anak hosted an enlightening and practical workshop in collaboration with LYSAGHT, a renowned roof and wall construction company. For three days, our maintenance staff and a group of enthusiastic teenagers had the unique opportunity to learn directly from LYSAGHT’s expert team. The workshop focused on installing roofing systems using LYSAGHT’s products, providing invaluable hands-on experience to all participants.
The LYSAGHT team generously shared their knowledge and expertise, conducting comprehensive training sessions that covered everything from the basics of roof installation to advanced techniques. This workshop was not only a learning experience but also a vital contribution to our ongoing projects. The skills gained from this training will be instrumental as we undertake the renovation of the roofs at our Lombok center and the installation of new roofs at our Sumbawa center facilities.
Nana, our dedicated maintenance coordinator, shared her thoughts on the workshop, saying, “This training was incredibly beneficial for our team and the children. LYSAGHT’s hands-on approach allowed us to understand the intricacies of roof installation. Our teenagers were particularly enthusiastic, and it was heartening to see them so engaged and eager to learn.”
