As a volunteer with children in Lombok at Peduli Anak, you have a unique chance to make a meaningful impact while immersing yourself in a vibrant culture. Our program lets you work closely with our dedicated staff at our child welfare center in Lombok or Sumbawa, assisting in daily operations and contributing to our mission of supporting and uplifting the children.

We seek volunteers who can significantly enhance our centers through advanced pedagogical methods, knowledge sharing, and skill training. Ideal roles include training our staff, serving as teaching assistants, or providing technical assistance. To protect our children, we do not accept volunteers in caregiving roles, ensuring that all caregiving is managed by our trained local foster mothers and counselors.

General Requirements:

  • Proficiency in English and/or Indonesian
  • Age 21+ (except for children accompanied by adults or students)
  • Submission of a CV
  • References with contact information (minimum of 2)
  • Certificate of Good Behavior from authorized authorities
  • Willingness to abide by Peduli Anak Protocols and Child Protection Policy
  • Respect for and understanding of the local culture
  • Passion for working with children
  • Enthusiastic, honest, hard-working, flexible, creative, and committed

If you meet these requirements and possess the skills we seek,  you can apply for volunteering in our Child Welfare Center in Lombok or Sumbawa. Your participation can make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children we serve, while ensuring their safety and well-being.
