Peduli Anak Primary School recently held a WORKSHOP on Bullying Prevention (STOP BULLYING), which was attended by teachers, counselors, and foster mothers from Peduli Anak. The workshop aimed to provide a deeper understanding of how to prevent bullying among children, both at school and at home.
The event featured two speakers: Mr. Lalu Yulhaidar, an experienced psychologist, and Ms. Ismi Zulaeha, Peduli Anak’s psychologist. Both speakers delivered important materials on recognizing the signs of bullying, its impact on children, and strategies that can be applied to prevent bullying from happening.
During the session, participants were encouraged to be more aware of the signs of bullying and were given practical steps to address and stop such behavior. The discussion also focused on the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment for children, whether at school or at home.
Ms. Ismi Zulaeha, Peduli Anak’s psychologist, highlighted the importance of this workshop: “Bullying prevention is our shared responsibility, especially for those who interact directly with children. This workshop is essential to equip teachers, counselors, and foster mothers with the knowledge and skills they need to create a safe environment for children.”
Through this workshop, we hope that Peduli Anak’s teachers, counselors, and foster mothers can lead the way in preventing bullying by building an environment filled with empathy and support for children. This event is a crucial step toward raising a generation that is more caring and free from bullying.
