Peduli Anak Celebrates Indonesian Independence Day with Flag Ceremony

In the early morning of August 17th, the children and staff of Peduli Anak came together to celebrate Indonesia’s Independence Day with a solemn flag ceremony. This annual tradition holds special significance for everyone at Peduli Anak, as it serves as a moment to reflect on the nation’s history and express their patriotism.

The ceremony began with all participants gathering in the courtyard, where the staff members took their positions as flag raisers and led the event. The atmosphere was filled with pride and respect as the children and other staff members stood in formation, ready to honor the Indonesian flag.

As the flag was raised, the entire Peduli Anak family saluted and joined their voices in singing “Indonesia Raya,” the national anthem. The unity and enthusiasm during the singing of the anthem created a powerful and moving experience, highlighting the deep sense of national pride within the community.

Ms. Ros, the Counselor Manager of Peduli Anak, shared her thoughts on the ceremony, saying, “This ceremony is a meaningful tradition for us. It not only instills a sense of national pride in the children but also teaches them the importance of unity and respect for our country’s history. Seeing everyone come together like this is truly inspiring.”
