On November 21, 2024, Peduli Anak Primary School had the honor of hosting a visit from the Education and Culture Office of Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra. The visit, attended by 25 officials, was part of a study tour to learn more about the innovative educational approaches being implemented at Peduli Anak. The Headmaster of Peduli Anak Primary School, Mr. Muhammadun, warmly welcomed the delegation.

Exploring the INOVASI Program

The main focus of the visit was to understand the implementation of the INOVASI program (Innovation for Indonesian School Children), a partnership with Australia Indonesia. This program has been successfully integrated into the learning methods at Peduli Anak Primary School, providing quality education tailored to the diverse needs of its students.

During the visit, Mr. Muhammadun introduced the guests to the various teaching methods employed at the school. He highlighted how the INOVASI program has helped children from different backgrounds, some of whom had never attended school before joining Peduli Anak, to thrive academically and socially.

“The INOVASI program allows us to address the unique needs of each child through differentiated learning methods,” shared Mr. Muhammadun. “It is a testament to what can be achieved with commitment and the right tools, even for children who have faced significant challenges in their educational journey.”

Interactive Classroom Experiences

The visitors had the opportunity to observe classroom activities and directly interact with the students. The children warmly welcomed the guests, confidently showcasing what they had learned. From classroom discussions to practical exercises, the students demonstrated the effectiveness of the innovative teaching strategies applied at Peduli Anak.

The delegation was particularly impressed by how the children engaged with the INOVASI program’s differentiated learning approach, which focuses on catering to each student’s unique learning style and pace. This interaction gave the visitors a clear picture of how the program has transformed the learning experience at Peduli Anak.

Inspiring Educational Progress in Muara Enim

The Education and Culture Office of Muara Enim Regency expressed their desire to replicate the success of the INOVASI program in their own schools. Observing its impact at Peduli Anak provided valuable insights into how they could implement the program and develop differentiated learning strategies for primary schools in Muara Enim.

“It’s inspiring to see how Peduli Anak has turned challenges into opportunities for these children,” said one of the visitors. “We aim to bring these practices to Muara Enim, ensuring our schools can also benefit from this innovative approach to education.”

A Shared Vision for Quality Education

The visit underscored the importance of collaboration and shared learning in achieving educational progress. By exchanging knowledge and best practices, both Peduli Anak and the Education and Culture Office of Muara Enim Regency can continue to refine their methods and provide better opportunities for Indonesian schoolchildren.

As Mr. Muhammadun emphasized, “Education is the foundation for a better future. By working together and learning from each other, we can create a brighter future for children across Indonesia.”
