Receiving love, a decent life, and quality education is every child's right. However, not all children are fortunate enough to receive all of these. Many children have to endure difficult lives, where a bright future remains a distant dream. This is the reality for many children before joining the Peduli Anak Foundation.
Take Hasan (10) for example, who once buried his dream of going to school due to his circumstances. Despite his young age, he had to fight the harsh realities of life as a scavenger. Often, he would use shop verandas as his sleeping place at night. Sometimes, while passing by a school during his scavenging rounds, he would look inside, imagining himself being able to learn like other children.
Hasan's story is just one of many harsh realities faced by street children, orphans, and victims of abuse before joining the Peduli Anak Foundation. At our welfare center, children like Hasan have the opportunity to experience a better life and receive quality education. However, we cannot continue to help these children alone.
