Story
Amidst the natural beauty of West Nusa Tenggara, there are stories of misfortune. Many orphans and abandoned children face significant challenges every day. They need our help to achieve a better life.
These children often live in very poor conditions, without parental support and adequate access to basic needs such as food, education, and shelter. Many children are in poor health, with malnutrition, skin infections such as scabies, and even severe parasitic infections. We at Yayasan Peduli Anak provide free health services, as well as nutritious food and vitamins to help these children get the care and nourishment they need. Without help, their future could be very limited and full of uncertainty.
Abdul (10) is a child who was abandoned by his mother, while his father's whereabouts are unknown. Abdul is being cared for by his adoptive grandmother and grandfather (a neighbor), while his biological grandmother is unable to care for him due to economic factors. Not long after Abdul's adoptive grandfather passed away while his adoptive grandmother suffered a stroke, so now little Abdul is returned to his biological grandmother, because he cannot take care of him, Abdul is taken to the Peduli Anak Foundation.
Many children like Abdul in West Nusa Tenggara need proper shelter and education to one day become successful individuals. Chaim Fetter, a foreigner who founded Yayasan Peduli Anak, provides orphans with safe housing and decent schooling. Chaim Fetter built school facilities, dormitories, a clinic, a public kitchen, and a child rehabilitation center.
Let's save 300 orphans in NTB from the streets and help them get food and education before it's too late! With just 50 thousand rupiah, a child can eat for a week and continue school. We can't do it alone, and currently we have helped more than 300 children to fulfil their needs and education, Our noble hearts need more support so we can continue to help them and give them a better future.
What We Do?
We have launched various programs to help them, including:
- Distribution of Healthy Food: Providing nutritious food essential for their growth.
- Education and School Supplies: Supplying school necessities and access to quality education.
- Housing and Care: Providing a safe and comfortable place to live.
- Emotional Support: Offering psychological support to help them cope with trauma and life challenges.
- However, our efforts still require more support to reach more children in need.
