At Peduli Anak Primary School, every achievement deserves to be celebrated. On 19 December 2024, our students showcased their talents and accomplishments through the vibrant event “Jejak Tradisi Langkah Kreasi Pelajar Pancasila.” This special day combined report card distribution with year-end performances, highlighting the students’ growth and achievements in academics and the arts.

A Showcase of Talent and Creativity

The event was alive with performances by our talented students. They captivated the audience with a drama about Perang Topat, a pantomime performance, and traditional dances. The stage came alive with energy and creativity, reflecting the hard work and enthusiasm of the children.

The celebration extended beyond the stage to an exhibition showcasing the students’ artistic achievements. Selected drawings were displayed, alongside art and crafts from their classes, revealing the creative spirit nurtured at Peduli Anak.

Widya, one of our students, expressed her excitement about the event:
“I am very proud to perform in front of so many people. I loved showing our hard work, especially in the drama. It feels amazing to see our art being appreciated too!”

Recognizing Achievements

During the event, we took the opportunity to highlight and celebrate the achievements of our students, both academic and non-academic. The names of achievers were announced, and they received gifts as a token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication.

This acknowledgment not only motivates the students to strive for excellence but also reinforces the values of hard work and perseverance that are central to our mission at Peduli Anak.

A Special Touch of Tradition and Community

The celebration was made even more special with the inclusion of gendang beleq, the traditional music of the Sasak people, played by invited students from a neighboring school. This cultural element brought a lively, harmonious atmosphere, emphasizing the importance of preserving and celebrating local traditions.

The presence of Mr. Lalu Ahmad Zaini, the elected West Lombok Regent, added a significant highlight to the event. He shared a heartfelt message with the children, inspiring them to keep dreaming and achieving:

“You are the future of our region. Never stop learning and believing in yourselves. With determination and hard work, you can achieve anything.”

Mr. Zaini also presented gifts to the children, making the celebration even more meaningful.

Looking Forward with Pride

The “Jejak Tradisi Langkah Kreasi Pelajar Pancasila” event was a testament to the progress and potential of the students at Peduli Anak. It was a day filled with pride, joy, and inspiration for everyone involved. By celebrating their achievements, we continue to empower our children to reach for the stars while staying connected to their roots.

As we reflect on this special day, we are grateful for the support of our community and partners, whose contributions help us nurture the talents and dreams of our children. Together, we can build a brighter future for every child under our care.
