Child Crisis Support

At Peduli Anak, we stand as a source of hope for vulnerable children in Indonesia, particularly those without adequate parental care. Leveraging our extensive network of partners and influencers, we launch swift humanitarian programs tailored to the urgent needs of children and their families. Our proactive approach was evident during the devastating Lombok earthquakes in August 2018, where we provided essential aid, including tents, blankets, food, water, medication, and vitamins, to thousands of affected children and families despite the destruction of our own child welfare center in Lombok.

We address critical medical needs through life-saving treatments and surgeries for conditions such as tetralogy of Fallot, cleft lip and palate, and hydrocephalus. We also treat malnutrition and ensure access to necessary medical supplies. Additionally, we provide professional counseling and emotional support to help children cope with trauma. Our services include urgent medical treatment and psychological care, ensuring comprehensive recovery support for each child.

A significant part of our work involves protecting children from harmful practices like child marriage. We actively intervene and negotiate with local communities to prevent underage marriages, working closely with government agencies to enforce Indonesian marriage laws. For children who come into contact with the law, we offer legal assistance and advocate for rehabilitation rather than imprisonment, protecting their rights and promoting reintegration into society.

Reuniting children with their families, when safe, is a cornerstone of our mission. We work with families to resolve crisis-related issues, strengthening family units and preventing separation. Education is also key, ensuring children continue their studies even during emergencies. Guided by humanity, neutrality, impartiality, and independence, our operations are effective, ethical, and aligned with global standards.

To continue this vital work, we need your help. Please consider sponsoring a child or donating to support our efforts and help build a brighter future for every child we serve.
